Seeing the Day of Resurrection or Doomsday in a dream serves as a grave admonition for a sinner and a strong warning for one who is inclined toward committing sins. It also signifies the manifestation of justice. If one sees himself as the only person resurrected on that day, it indicates his death. Standing upright awaiting judgment on the Day of Resurrection in a dream symbolizes travel. If a person sees himself and his wife as the only ones brought forth for judgment on the Great Day of Gathering, it reflects his injustice toward her or others. For a warrior, witnessing the Day of Resurrection means that, by Allah’s decree, the aggressor will be defeated. The land of the great gathering represents a chaste woman or a noble and honorable man. Hearing the Trumpet of Resurrection blown in a dream signifies salvation and deliverance for the righteous. Witnessing the extraordinary signs and events that precede the Day of Resurrection brings glad tidings to a believer who does good deeds and serves as a stern warning for a disbeliever to repent and reform before it is too late. Such a dream may also point to the occurrence of major signs, including bloodshed, the spread of corruption, dominance of atheism, pride in wealth, empowerment of the working class, construction of tall buildings, the decline of kingship on earth, or reminders of foretold signs like the sun rising from the West, the appearance of a speaking beast, or the emergence of the Imposter (Dajjal). Seeing the Day of Resurrection likewise represents the spread of evil, the expansion of policing forces, and the rule of powerful armies and tyrannical regimes, making the dream a reminder and warning for the dreamer. If graves are seen splitting open and the dead emerging with their angels, it indicates that justice will prevail in that land. If one experiences resurrection in a dream and then sees the world return to its former state, it means justice will rule temporarily before tyranny arises through unexpected people. This dream may also apply to someone seeking the impossible or stubbornly persisting in falsehood and wrongdoing. Recognizing the imminent final signs of the Day of Reckoning in a dream signifies heedlessness and serves as a warning. An easy reckoning denotes the piety, kindness, and affection of one’s wife, while a harsh and detailed reckoning signifies great losses. If good deeds outweigh bad deeds, it shows true devotion and greater reward. Carrying the scale to weigh deeds indicates righteousness and integrity. Seeing an angel handing over the record and commanding one to read it signifies being on the right path. Walking on the bridge of Judgment while holding one’s record and crying reflects supplication for forgiveness and ease in reckoning. Seeing Doomsday may also mean escape from dangerous enemies or the occurrence of a great trial in that place. Crossing the Bridge of Judgment indicates deliverance from a severe trial or overcoming a major obstacle in life. Carrying the book of records in the right hand signifies righteousness, wealth, and honor, while carrying it in the left hand signifies falling into sin, poverty, and dependence on others, for wealth does not coexist with adultery. Witnessing the emergence of the Imposter (Antichrist) in a dream signifies new trends, innovations, and masses deviating from the straight path.
