To witness the final accounting of someone who has died in a dream symbolizes that person's torment in the afterlife. If a traveler is asked to give an account of his journey's expenses and is treated gently during this review, it portends profitable travels and a safe homecoming. Dreaming of oneself at this event signifies a sincere turning away from one's misdeeds. To be brought before the court on that great day and find the questioning made easy denotes divine favor in the form of a righteous, loving, and devoted spouse. Should the interrogation be harsh and meticulous, it foretells of losses. If one sees themselves being examined in a tribunal by unknown figures, it indicates deviation into religious innovation and being held to account for it. However, if those figures appear finely dressed and fragrant, offering congratulations and the greeting of peace, it signals the dreamer's own piety and virtuous conduct.
