Striking or punching someone in a dream signifies addressing him with harshness, severity, or hurtful speech. Clenching or holding a fist indicates neglect or abstention from performing obligatory prayers and a tightening of the heart. Punching also represents the use of low, ignoble, or offensive words during a dispute between believers, and it may point to seeking revenge, falling into debt, or becoming involved in legal matters such as appeals, summonses, or lawsuits. To spur or strike someone in a dream suggests pursuing a satanic or wrongful impulse, followed by fear, hesitation, or flight; yet it also indicates that the dreamer will ultimately escape harm, survive the consequences, and prevail after recognizing and overcoming his error.
