Islamic Interpretation
Seeing oneself prostrating in humility before God Almighty in a dream signifies the removal of arrogance, establishment of a sound religious and spiritual life, swift attainment of heartfelt aims in both worldly and spiritual matters, and victory over an enemy. Prostration also denotes repentance from sin, remorse, deliverance, escape from danger, or receiving forgiveness. Prostrating during wartime indicates humiliation before an enemy, conflict, financial loss, or standing powerless before closed opportunities. Prostrating to God on the summit of a mountain means overcoming a formidable foe, while prostrating on a hill signifies submission to a powerful person. Prostration in a dream further represents faith in God Almighty, joining the company of His Messenger, peace be upon him, in Paradise, long life, and spiritual improvement.
