In a vision, pollen signifies wealth or a state of pregnancy. Should an ailing person see pollen, it foretells recovery from sickness, though it may also indicate his passing. Pollen also represents the accumulation of goods or supplies. Plucking one or two spathes means one may father a child or two. Consuming pollen denotes that one will derive sustenance from the earnings of such children. Witnessing trees in bloom signals the ascent of one's fortune and the expectation of advantages. Observing a yellow spathe without eating from it symbolizes the wrath of a landowner toward his tenants. Pollen can also denote money or disease. Gathering pollen spores may signify the illness of one's wife potentially leading to her death, or the receipt of a substantial inheritance.
