A plague in a dream signifies itching, scabies, sycosis, or mange. Being afflicted by any of these plagues in a dream means experiencing the same condition in waking life. Seeing a city struck by a plague indicates witnessing the wrath of God Almighty descending upon it. A plague may also symbolize the grave, religious innovation, a journey lasting a full year, or a punishment imposed by a ruler. Seeing oneself inside a plague-stricken city signifies war.
