Pine nuts represent the pine tree itself, and a single pine nut may symbolize a well-known person of noble character, a devout and respected individual who is poor, or someone of limited means who nevertheless shelters thieves out of compassion. The same interpretation applies to owls and crows. Building a door from pine wood for one’s house means hiring a servant or doorkeeper lacking refinement and sound judgment. If a merchant or trader sees this dream, it indicates that he may unknowingly employ a thief.
