In a dream, perspiration indicates recovery from sickness, though it may also point to the smell associated with death. For a healthy person, sweating signifies labor, service, or effort followed by hardship in life. Perspiration also reflects the ordinary trials and difficulties one faces. Sweating excessively means achieving objectives or fulfilling needs. Sweat under the armpits producing a foul odor signifies disease or an epidemic, while for a ruler, merchant, or trader it denotes hoarding wealth in an improper manner.
