Islamic Interpretation
Forgiving someone for a sin, mistake, or error in a vision indicates that the Almighty will extend forgiveness to the dreamer for their own sins. Such an act also symbolizes longevity, recognition for devoutness, divine protection, a benevolent heart, and a merciful disposition. Pardoning a criminal in a dream further signifies receiving God's forgiveness in this life and on the Final Day. To forgive and grant pardon when one possesses the power to do so reflects strong faith, piety, and conscious avoidance of wrongdoing. If the Almighty, or His Prophet, pardons or forgives one's sins within the dream, it denotes sincere repentance, acceptance of guidance, and the attainment of a commendable end in both this world and the hereafter.
