In a dream, a neck signifies an act of embracing, a gift with stipulations, a testamentary document, or a bequest with conditions. The neck and shoulders together in a vision represent one's charge or reliability. A sound, robust neck in a dream denotes dependability and the capacity to discharge one's obligations. Lesions, suppuration, or infection in the neck in a dream signifies violating a divine trust. If one observes a pleasing bird perching upon their neck in a dream, it indicates advantages or a justification. If it is an ungentle bird, then it becomes an ill portent or a reprimand.
