Nakedness in a dream signifies inner purity and transparency, though it may also indicate committing an act that leads to remorse. Removing one’s clothes means confronting a reserved, concealed, yet dangerous enemy who will openly reveal his hostility. Seeing oneself naked while alone indicates an enemy exploiting one’s weaknesses through threats, coercion, or blackmail. Being naked before a gathering signifies exposure or slander. If one is naked among people without feeling shame or awareness, it means entering a venture, exaggerating one’s role in it, enduring hardship, and gaining nothing from it. If one is naked before people and feels embarrassed or searches unsuccessfully for cover, it signifies loss of property and wealth. Standing naked while people stare at one’s private parts indicates scandal or defamation. Nakedness may also signify divorce or the death of one’s wife. Removing clothing denotes loss of rank, position, employment, demotion, or recovery from illness. If a sick person sees himself changing a soiled garment, it means healing, escape from adversity or accident, or being cleared of false accusation. Nakedness can also indicate death. For the devout, it signifies renunciation of worldly life or increased devotion. If a farmer sees an unknown woman naked, it means the time has come to prepare the land for planting. With a truthful witness or valid reference, nakedness signifies performing the pilgrimage to Mecca. Nakedness may also mean donning a new garment.
