Mother of pearl or glittering glass ornaments in a dream symbolize deceptive beauty and outward brilliance that conceal inner emptiness and impermanence. Buying such an ornament, or seeing oneself owning or living in a house made of mother of pearl, signifies preferring the fleeting pleasures and adornments of this world over the eternal reward of the hereafter. It reflects attachment to luxury, vanity, and sensual enjoyment at the expense of obedience, humility, and devotion, indicating disregard for God’s commands and spiritual responsibilities. In its most severe meaning, this vision warns of straying from faith, hardening of the heart, and the danger of apostasy brought about by being seduced by worldly splendor and false glitter.
