The marriage bond in a dream represents commitment, responsibility, continuity, and the binding ties that connect a person to life, faith, and worldly obligations. Rescinding or dissolving this bond signifies a severe rupture, indicating death, the end of one’s role, or dismissal from employment, reflecting loss of position, stability, or purpose. Revoking the bond may also symbolize the cancellation of an agreement, such as selling something for a fixed term and later demanding its return, pointing to reversal, regret, or breach of contract. In a deeper and more serious sense, undoing the marriage bond can signify turning away from faith or falling into apostasy, representing the severing of one’s covenant, abandonment of guidance, and withdrawal from a previously binding moral or spiritual commitment.
