Islamic Interpretation
In a dream, a lizard symbolizes greed, excessive desire for wealth or worldly gains, gluttony in consumption, or sharp differences in opinions, preferences, and tastes that lead to disputes or divisions among people. It also represents a deceitful individual who cunningly swindles or defrauds others of their money through trickery and manipulation, or it may foretell the onset of an illness or affliction affecting the dreamer. The lizard further embodies a wicked, condemned, and detested person who is shunned by society, or a solitary and lonesome figure isolated from companionship and support. Encountering a lizard might indicate involvement with suspicious, tainted, or ill-gotten money acquired through dubious means, association with someone of obscure or unknown lineage and questionable background, or even a person believed to be reincarnated or supernaturally transformed into lizard form as a manifestation of divine retribution. Such transformation of a human into another creature in reality signifies severe divine punishment for grave sins, though according to divine wisdom it typically endures no longer than three days before reversal or resolution, known only fully to God Almighty, serving as a profound warning to the dreamer to avoid greed, deceit, and immoral pursuits while seeking repentance, purity in earnings, and righteous company to avert spiritual harm and worldly misfortunes.
