(Murder, Taking one's own life) To commit killing in a dream signifies a grave transgression. Should a person take his own life, or end himself out of fear for the consequences of his misdeeds in a dream, it denotes that he is sincerely repenting from his sins, though suicide itself is a major sin leading its doer to perpetual torment. Ending another's life in a dream means performing a wicked and dreadful act. Conversely, committing a flagrant sin or an openly reprehensible deed in a dream can symbolize killing someone. If one is slain in a dream, it signifies a long life and that he will obtain substantial wealth from his slayer. Killing someone without properly slaughtering them in a dream means the victim will gain significantly from his aggressor. Slaughtering in a dream represents oppression. Killing in a dream can also mean release from despair, anguish, hardship, and sadness. Taking one's own life in a dream may also indicate realizing the worth of lost advantages. If one is murdered without knowing the perpetrator, it points to negligence in religious obligations. Recognizing the murderer signifies victory over an adversary. Seeing a victim swimming in blood flowing from his neck denotes that the victim will endure severe defamation and slander from his attacker. Intentionally ending one's own life in a dream indicates the dreamer is a disruptive rebel and a disobedient servant of God. Admitting to a murder in a dream means gaining dominance. Killing could also signify missing or neglecting one's prayers. Killing one's own son in a dream means receiving money. Dying as a martyr in a dream also signifies gains, the fulfillment of a pledge, business prosperity, or it may indicate assassination, drowning, or death under a fallen structure.
