Experiencing jealousy in a dream foretells losses for the one who feels it. A jealous individual possesses a wicked trait, and jealousy itself is a vice. If a person who is envied by others sees his situation bettering in the dream, it portends impoverishment, bitterness, spite, sorcery, or ill-will for the envier, and advantages for the target of the envy. In a dream, jealousy further signifies greed, resentment, stinginess, and attachment to worldly matters. To harm someone by gazing upon them with contempt in a dream suggests the aggressor will himself suffer from the malicious gaze of his victim. (Also see Jaundice)
