Loathing and aversion are roots of discord and hostility among people, who nonetheless require mutual cooperation to achieve shared aims. If one sees himself burdened by contempt, or feels hatred toward another in a dream, it is an ill portent for all parties. To despise someone who holds affection for you in a vision implies treachery, envy, and deep-seated bitterness. Feelings of hatred within a dream may also represent an earnest desire to pursue righteousness and shun wrongdoing. (Also see Grudge)
