Islamic Interpretation
(Bail, Collateral, Escrow, Security, Surety) Seeing a guarantee in a dream signifies undertaking an obligation or pledging responsibility for a matter. When the guarantee involves something virtuous—such as charity, safe passage, fulfilling a need, or rescuing someone in distress—it reflects the dreamer’s upright morals and noble disposition. If the guarantee concerns wine, intoxicants, unlawful wealth, or acts of disdain, it points to restriction, hardship, poverty, miserliness, or stinginess, since the guarantor in the dream assumes the role of a debtor and the guarantee symbolizes a penalty. If one sees himself standing as a guarantor for another, it means he will either gain beneficial knowledge from the person he guarantees or come to regret a commitment he has already made.
