A fox in a dream symbolizes a dangerous enemy, a treacherous and deceitful person, a liar, poet, fraudster, schemer, and trickster. It may also represent a fortune-teller, a harsh government inspector, a physician, or a skilled business manager. Killing a fox signifies exploiting or benefiting from a noble woman. A fox also indicates seeking favor with a man or woman of high status. If a fox or vixen flatters the dreamer and seeks protection, it reflects fear of spirits, jinn, or people. Battling a fox means one’s wife has committed adultery. Taking a piece of fox skin or hair signifies victory, strength, or receiving an inheritance.
