Feet in a dream symbolize a person's upright character and stability, as they enable one to stand firm, so any event affecting the feet mirrors impacts on one's finances, career, efforts, employer, or responsibilities. Feet directed toward the sky may indicate the loss of a child, while feet turning green suggest commercial setbacks. Engaging in repulsive sexual acts with one's feet foretells chasing forbidden sexual relations. Going barefoot signifies hardship, struggles, and exhaustion. Consuming another person's foot implies forming a close friendship, gaining their advocacy, achieving success through the connection, satisfying desires, obtaining travel advantages, or if qualified, leading needy people or directing sailors to their haul—for the poor this means greater benevolence to others than for the wealthy. For a rich individual, eating another's foot points to ailment, frailty, or loss of sight, while for wrongdoers it denotes incarceration, grief, and accusation. A foot becoming stone indicates loss of its function, stepping over a monarch or leader means treading on a coin bearing that ruler's image. Foot amputation suggests losing half one's fortune, both feet amputated implies total loss of wealth or imminent death. A foot without skin covering indicates prolonged life, toes represent virtuous actions, foot pain signifies sins with consequent penalty or calls for repentance and perseverance.
