Using pleasing words to gain worldly advantage, access to knowledge, or employment that aids religious observance in a dream brings honor, improves devotional practice, or achieves spiritual aims. However, it may lead to adverse outcomes if one does not normally pursue such needs, presents requests disingenuously, or seeks favors from a known woman in the vision. It can also mean escaping an adversary's threats. Alternatively, flattering and currying favor with others in a dream may signify prioritizing others' needs above one's own, sincerity, and acts of generosity. (Also see Adulation)
