Experiencing fear in a dream carries an opposite indication. It points to tranquility and sincere repentance in waking life. Seeing oneself frightened and fleeing from fear means gaining dominance and prevailing. If one dreams of confronting fear as if preparing to fight it, this signifies participation in warfare. Should a person see himself afraid and hear a voice saying, “Do not fear, you will not die, nor will you endure this life,” it suggests the possibility of losing eyesight. Seeing oneself as someone who fears God indicates that worldly anxieties will fade, and true piety and constant remembrance of the Lord will grow. The figure or thing that causes fear symbolizes harm and repulsion. Feeling scared in a dream reflects happiness when awake. Fear may also denote wrongdoing, moral corruption, or suffering the outcomes of past misdeeds.
