Entering another person’s home in a dream signifies overcoming him, gaining advantage in trade, or taking hold of his affairs. Entering the governor’s residence and feeling at ease suggests seeking his support in personal matters. The arrival of a just person in a home brings blessings; the entry of a tyrant signals harm and misfortune unless his visits are habitual, in which case no new danger arises. Entering a house built of unusual material and meeting known deceased souls indicates entering the realm of the dead. If one goes in and later emerges, it means approaching death followed by recovery from severe illness. Entering the Sacred House in Mecca represents returning to one’s home as a newlywed.
