Islamic Interpretation
If a person vanishes from their home or country without leaving a trace in the dream, it signifies embarking on a lengthy voyage, appearing where others suspect, marrying in a distant place, developing affection for a stranger, falling ill abroad, or death if the dreamer is already sick. The disappearance of pious individuals, however, may point to longing for a beloved or being granted insight into hidden cosmic truths. Should one sink into the earth without an opening and remain so long that others despair of their return, it denotes self-delusion, pride, worldly attachment, and a death resulting from reckless ventures.
