The act of planting in a dream indicates that one's wife will conceive. Plowing another's land signifies a quarrel between them. Crops consumed by fire portend famine and drought. Walking through verdant fields denotes striving to perform righteous and charitable acts and living piously, while being uncertain of divine acceptance. For a married person, planting means conceiving a son; for an unmarried person, it means marriage; for a merchant, it means increased profit. Green crops signify a long life, while dried crops point to life's end nearing. Planting wheat denotes charity that multiplies one's reward. Ears of grain signify calamity or sorrows. Seeing barley in its field signifies spiritual enlightenment and a deliberate turn to good works. Recognizing one's own crop represents one's worldly and spiritual deeds.
