Counting apples in a dream signifies counting wealth. Reaching the number one hundred, five thousand, or twenty thousand foretells triumph over an adversary. Reaching seven or eight signals hardship and strain. Reaching nine warns of troubles and association with wicked people. Reaching ten means finishing a task or performing the Hajj pilgrimage. Reaching forty indicates a promise will soon be kept. Reaching thirty points to making false oaths or impossible pledges. The number one stands for uniqueness, pre-eminence in faith, wealth, marriage, offspring, or a preference for seclusion. It also represents Allah, the One who has no partner. Two means aid against foes. Three signifies a vow fulfilled. Four denotes the pilgrimage to Mecca. Five reflects doubt and frail belief. Six announces victory over enemies or proof of their guilt. Counting money bearing the name of God means praising and glorifying Him continually. Counting large notes inscribed with the Name of God Almighty signifies gaining sacred knowledge. Coins or notes bearing portraits of people indicate heresy, innovation in religion, or associating partners with God. Counting pearls means reciting the Qur’an. Counting precious stones means acquiring wisdom from a true knower. Counting prayer beads means meddling in others’ affairs, indecent speech, or immorality. Counting sheep equals counting riches or one’s children. Counting cows promises long life or enduring severe trials. A farmer counting camels foretells rainfall and abundant crops.
