Islamic Interpretation
(Atmospheric) In a vision, experiencing cold signifies impoverishment. A chilling, blustery climate points to a worsening of one's indigent state. Should the sun be shining yet the air remains cold, and the dreamer finds himself seated in the sunlight, then his condition of want shall be alleviated. To see oneself under the sun's glare and then moving into the shade for refuge suggests his anxieties and sorrows will vanish. Should this vision occur in the summertime, it foretells affluence. If one dreams of seeking a flame or smoke for warmth, it indicates he pursues employment that carries risk. Should he seek warmth from burning coals in the vision, it signifies he will wrongfully take funds from an orphan. Cold in winter holds little meaning, but to experience it in a summer vision means one's intended journey will be cancelled. (Also see Cold weather)
