(Lending, Loan) If the borrowed item is agreeable in the dream, it signifies a temporary good. If it is disagreeable, it is an ill omen. Borrowing a vehicle or taking a ride means unlawfully seizing another's property. Borrowing a valuable object means paying compensation, reparation, or a fine equal to its value. The borrowed item may also represent prosperity and success, or it could signify committing a disgraceful act, facing scandal, or a warning to avoid deceit or corruption. Borrowing or lending in a dream reflects the significance of, or need for, such an item, or one's fondness for it. The satisfaction derived from borrowing or lending to fulfill love, attachment, or need is often fleeting. Borrowing something bad, used for evil, unnecessary, or superfluous means suffering from it, though the suffering will not last.
