(Band, Chain, Fetters, Shackle, Strap, Ties) In a dream, a bond signifies diligence, piety, a pretense, an ailment, an unresolved debt, or recognition of the one who fastens the chain or rope around one's hands. A silver band denotes an enduring marriage. A brass band indicates firmness accompanied by deceit, concerning something detestable. A lead bond suggests determination about something feeble or unworthy. A bond made of rope signifies devoutness and religious observance. A wooden bond means persistence in hypocrisy. A bond of cloth or thread means attachment to something transient. A bond can also mean delays in travel plans; for a merchant, it means his goods will sell; for one in sorrow, it means his grief will linger. To see oneself bound for God's cause means caring for one's family. Being tied up in a city or village means residing there. Being bound inside a house means living with a difficult spouse. Adding extra shackles to someone already bound and bedridden means his death; for a prisoner, it means a longer sentence. Wearing a green garment with hands tied means spiritual progress. A white garment means knowledge, understanding, beauty, and honor. A red garment means one is a musician or enamored with music and distracting nightlife. A yellow garment means sickness. Tied with a golden bond means awaiting recovery of lost investment money. Tied inside a glass palace means befriending a noble woman, though the friendship will be brief.
