Islamic Interpretation
In a dream, to be beheaded signifies liberation from servitude, the dissipation of grief and distress, the settlement of debts, or the attainment of success. If one recognizes their executioner in the vision, it indicates receiving wealth from that individual. For a sick person, it foretells recovery from illness; for a healthy person, it suggests performing the pilgrimage. If the executioner is a young boy, it portends ease, gladness, and the removal of burdens through one's passing. For a person in good health, beheading denotes the termination of comfort or the loss of employment or authority. To be beheaded by a town's governor signifies that the Almighty will deliver one from sorrows and grant strength in worldly life. Witnessing a ruler beheading subjects means he will proclaim a pardon for all detainees. Being beheaded as a result of a judicial sentence or by thieves warns of the possible imminent death of a parent or child. A condemned prisoner seeing themselves beheaded predicts release from incarceration and the correction of their verdict. For an investor or money-changer, such a vision signals a loss of capital. For a traveler, it signifies a safe homecoming. For rivals, it indicates defeat in their conflict. (Also see Cutting off)
