Appearing without shoes in a dream points to toil and hardship in life. This applies particularly if the dreamer is not shown removing footwear and stepping without them. In other situations, it foretells attaining a prominent rank. Going shoeless also suggests relief from burdens and stress, separation from a spouse, or loss in the household. Travelling without shoes indicates a financial obligation one cannot settle. Walking with only one foot uncovered and the other shod signifies the end of a commercial alliance. (Also see Walking)
