Climbing a steep incline in a dream signifies striving to achieve success in both worldly and spiritual pursuits, seeking benefits from both realms despite the heavy effort required. An ascent may symbolize a difficult woman or a stern man who can only be approached with gentleness and affection. It can also represent an unreliable associate or business partner unworthy of one’s trust. Likewise, an ascent may reflect the path to salvation, the hazards one must cross, and the deeds that protect against punishment. It can point to trials, hardship, and looming dangers. Ascending a steep slope indicates risk, while descending from it denotes safety. An ascent may further symbolize a bridge, an underpass, a wife, a woman, or even a scorpion. Passing through a steep incline can mean rising in rank through knowledge, good governance, noble conduct, responsible action, or wisdom. Falling down a steep area indicates loss of position, diminished respect, financial setbacks, rejecting truth, turning against religion, or falling into darkness.
