Performing ablution in a dream and completing it with careful attention to every detail signifies that one’s needs will be met and matters resolved. Taking a second ablution for prayer when no ritual requirement exists indicates an increase in spiritual illumination. Making ablution with milk or honey reflects debts or financial burdens. Ablution is regarded as a noble act in all revealed faiths, symbolizing protection, mercy, divine safeguarding, and immunity from harm. Taking ablution for prayer represents entering God’s care and being shielded from whatever one fears. It is mentioned in tradition that God Almighty said to Moses, peace be upon him: “When fear overtakes you, perform your ablution and instruct your family to do the same and stand in prayer.” Washing the body in a dream signifies preparing for worship or cleansing oneself from impurities. Taking ablution inside a tunnel or performing a full ritual bath suggests recovering something stolen. Completing ablution and then praying indicates relief from distress and gratitude for divine guidance and protection. If a merchant prays without ablution, it means entering a business venture without capital. For a laborer, it signifies lacking a proper home; for a ruler, it suggests having no supporting soldiers. If a sick person takes ablution while lying in bed, it means separation from a spouse or close companion. Taking ablution inside one’s home points to moving to a new residence. Performing ablution publicly in a street, marketplace, or bathhouse symbolizes scandal, loss, and disgrace. Taking ablution at the seashore or in an appropriate ablution area signifies the removal of fear, grief, or hardship.
